Notice of Meeting to Consider Rate Increase
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 32-1-1001(2)(a), C.R.S., to the customers of the Bellyache Ridge Metropolitan District and all other interested persons that the Board of Directors of the District shall consider increasing the District’s water rates effective April 16, 2025 at an open public meeting to be held at 6:00 p.m. MT on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. The meeting will be held by teleconference using dial-in number 425-436-6331 and access code 261328#.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that any interested party may appear at said time and place for the purpose of providing input, comments or objections to the Board regarding this matter. Information regarding the possible rate increase may be obtained from the District’s accounting company, Community Resource Services of Colorado, LLC, 7995 E. Prentice Avenue, Suite 103E, Greenwood Village, Colorado.

Water Rates
The following water rates are in effect beginning August 16, 2024.
Water Base Rate $ 20.55 per month per unit.
Plus $ 41.10 per month Fixed User Fee.
Plus $ 2.74 per 1,000 gallons for 1 – 4,000 gallons.
Plus $13.69 per 1,000 gallons for 4,001 – 6,000 gallons.
Plus $ 68.49 per 1,000 gallons for 6,001 – 8,000 gallons.
Plus $ 218.51 per 1,000 gallons for 8,001 and greater gallons.

How-to-Pay your Monthly Water Bill
Community Resource Services of Colorado (CRS) is the district’s water billing service. Call CRS at 303-381-4960 to set up your water service account and pay your water bill.

Water Quality
Metropolitan District Activities
2024 – Present
Much of the district’s focus in 2024 was to reduce water system losses by identifying and repairing instances of substandard and leaking water pipes and fitments.
Approximately 750 feet of district owned, substandard water pipe was taken out of commission and replaced in two separate projects. Additionally, individual homeowners replaced over 300 feet of leaking water pipe during the year.
More work of this kind will need to be funded and completed in 2025 and beyond.
Budget Process
The district follows the process and requirements to adopt an annual budget in accordance with the Local Government Budget Law of Colorado, part 1 of article 1 of title 29, C.R.S. A copy of the budget is available for public inspection at the offices of Community Resource Services of Colorado, LLC.
Audits
The district has requirements to have an annual financial statements audit in accordance with the Colorado Local Government Audit Law, part 6 of article 1 of title 29, C.R.S. A copy of the audit report is available for public inspection at the offices of Community Resource Services of Colorado, LLC.
